At St Alban's we are linguists!

We want all our children to:

develop a real love and passion for learning a new language.

be curious about the wider world, its countries, languages and customs.

develop a strong awareness of the culture of the countries where French is spoken.

have the confidence to speak with good intonation and pronunciation.

be able to use language creatively and spontaneously.

be inspired to develop their language learning in the future, perhaps take up other languages and to be confident to use French throughout their lives.
